You will be tested on the first day and put in a class with students who are a similar level. During your course there will be homework every day and regular tests.

On all our General English courses you will develop the 4 language skills:

  • You will also study and practise:

  • Pronunciation
  • General English Course
    There are 4 General English courses:
  • Full time - 15 hours per week
  • Full time plus - 20 hours per week
  • + Individual - 18 hours per week
  • Super Intensive - 23 hours per week
  • Course length: 2 - 48 weeks

    If you take General English Full Time Plus or General English Super Intensive, you will also have one extra hour every day in a special Conversation and Pronunciation class.

    If you take General English + Individual or General English Super Intensive, you will also have extra one-to-one lessons (just you and the teacher). In these lessons, you can choose what you want to study and design a programme with your teached.

    Part time Morning General English and Cambridge Exams

    Part time Morning General English / Cambridge Exams


    Our part-time morning classes are designed for those working in London as au pairs and nannies, who cannot attend school every day.

    NOTE: There are no part-time morning courses in July or August.

    There are two options - 9 or 6 hours per week, spaces are always limited on these popular courses.

    Monday, Wednesday, Friday (9 hours per week)
    Tuesday, Thursday (6 hours per week)
    Places available for au pairs and nannies
    Minimum course: 12 weeks
    Course: General English or Cambridge exam

    On the part-time morning course you will be able to develop the four language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing. You will also focus on grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. You will be placed in a group according to your level and will have the chance to take a Cambridge English exam.

    Part-time Evening General English / Cambridge


    You can choose the right evening course for your needs. You can study 1, 2 or 3 evenings a week and take either one course or combine 2 or 3 courses.

  • English for Work

  • focus on language and skills needed to find, start and keep a job in the UK. This includes: CVs, interviews, negotiations and presentations, business and work related vocabulary, writing (from emails to reports).

  • IELTS Preparation

  • focus on the skills required to take the IELTS test. This includes: academic reading, writing and listening, dealing with longer and complex texts, exam techniques and the individual needs of members of the class.

  • General English / Cambridge

  • focus on the four skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing with emphasis on vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation. Preparation for Cambridge exams will be included for those students who wish to take an exam at the end of the course.
